REIKI HEALING

Reiki has its own intelligence. The energy goes where it is needed to heal the cause of a problem wherever it exists; body, mind, or emotion (spirit). As a Reiki practitioner, I serve as a channel for this divine energy to flow freely, activating your body's innate healing ability.

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means 'Higher Wisdom' and Ki which is 'life force energy'.

Understanding this gives a glimpse into this ancient healing practice. Reiki is essentially 'wise energy', and as a practitioner, I simply act as a conduit for this energy to flow from source, through me, to you.

I've come to understand Reiki as the animating energy of all existence; Our body is a miracle. Beyond the physical, visible body, exists a subtle, energetic one. It is this which houses, and gives rise to our consciousness.

As humans, we are all exposed to suffering; our pains and our traumas. These interrupt the flow of subtle energy that enables our highest health and functioning. Receiving transmitted Reiki energy serves to remind your entire being (body, emotions, mind and spirit) of the native flow of Ki, thus restoring your body's natural healing ability.
